Introduction

LTCue ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

License Activation

When you activate a license, we collect:

  • Email address — From your purchase, used to identify your license
  • Machine identifier — A one-way cryptographic hash derived from hardware characteristics, used solely to verify activation limits. This hash cannot be reversed to identify specific hardware details.
  • Activation timestamp — When the license was activated

Update Checks

LTCue periodically checks for software updates. This sends:

  • Current app version — To determine if an update is available

No personal information is transmitted during update checks.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

  • Audio data or timecode information
  • Resolume composition content or clip names
  • Usage analytics or behavior tracking
  • Personal files from your computer
  • IP addresses for tracking purposes

How We Use Information

We use collected information only to:

  • Validate and manage your license
  • Provide technical support when requested
  • Check for and notify about software updates
  • Prevent license abuse (e.g., activating on more machines than allowed)
